Seasonal Part Time Retail Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Part Time Retail Associate at Marshalls is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to meet business needs. The role includes supporting positive store culture, accurately processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising merchandise, recovering and maintaining the sales floor and store, contributing to shrink reduction and safety programs, and following applicable labor laws and company policies. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
