About The Position
Homesense Retail Associates deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Associates follow operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also supports store culture, merchandising, safety, and shrink-reduction goals. The position is part-time and is located at Homesense Store 2039 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Starting pay is USD $15.00 to $15.50 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
