About The Position

The Seasonal Part-Time Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and includes processing customer purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, merchandising and preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and participating in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned. This position is at Marshalls Store 1228, 1966 Charlotte's Way, Washington, Missouri. The starting pay range is USD $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits are subject to applicable plan or program terms and may change.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and embodying customer experience principles.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
