About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring Retail Associates to support its mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. The role helps create a welcoming, organized shopping and donation experience, keeps stores operating efficiently, and supports community programs. Associates provide customer and donor service, process transactions and donations, sort and merchandise donated goods, and maintain clean, safe work areas. The position includes flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The hourly rate is $18.47.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
• Comfort using point-of-sale and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to support a team environment.

• Some retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, positive service to customers and donors.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle donations with care.
• Sort, price, and merchandise donated goods according to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to sales and production goals.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
