About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring Retail Associates to support its mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. The role helps create a welcoming and organized shopping and donation experience, keeps store operations running efficiently, and supports community programs. Associates provide customer and donor service, process sales and donations, prepare and merchandise donated goods, and help meet store sales and production goals. Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
• Comfort using point-of-sale and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to work in a team environment.

• Some retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and positive service to customers and donors.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Handle donations with care.
• Sort, price, and merchandise donated goods according to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to sales and production goals.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
