About The Position

The Retail Associate promotes and supports Red Wing Shoe Company’s brand through professional selling, customer loyalty, and long-lasting customer relationships. The role guides customers through the Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), sells premium products, recommends and explains accessories, and provides conscientious customer service. The associate also supports daily retail store operations and maintains a safe, healthy, and well-presented store environment.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Must be age 18 or older within 30 days of application.
1–2 years of relevant experience.
Results-oriented.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Computer utilization skills.

Responsibilities

Guide each customer through Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience.
Recommend appropriate accessories and educate customers on their benefits.
Generate industrial sales leads.
Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
Maintain sales-floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
Maintain product knowledge and proficiency with technical and operating standards through continuous learning.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and legal regulations.
Provide direct support in daily retail store operations.
Maintain knowledge of the company’s electronic communication software.
Establish, follow, and enforce quality system standards to maintain quality service.
Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values and policies.
Perform additional duties as required.
Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and other key contacts.
