About The Position
The position is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers and following customer experience principles. It also maintains a clean and organized store environment and adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. The associate may be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes accurately processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining merchandising standards, and participating in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The associate supports a positive store culture and follows labor laws, company policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
