About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring Retail Associates to support its mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. Retail Associates help create a welcoming and organized shopping and donation experience, keep stores operating efficiently, and support community programs. The role involves customer and donor service, processing transactions and donations, sorting and merchandising goods, and maintaining safe and organized work areas. The hourly rate is $18.47. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
• Comfort using point-of-sale and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and positive service to customers and donors.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Handle donations with care.
• Sort, price, and merchandise donated goods according to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to sales and production goals.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
