About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the management team in operations management and team leadership. The role is responsible for driving daily store performance, motivating employees, and delivering seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability by managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and carrying out sales management initiatives. The position also involves overseeing store systems and operational processes, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures. Occasional lifting and moving of boxes weighing up to 50 pounds is required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Support peak store operations, including occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Implement strategies to grow revenue, set performance expectations, and exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
