About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, leads employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability through inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management. The position also oversees store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes. The hourly pay range is $18.51–$19.63, with a starting rate of $18.51.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and work to exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
