About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, and ensures strong customer service. It also contributes to store profitability through inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management. The position may involve lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience are preferred but not required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
