About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team with store operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, inspires employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. Responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising, and executing sales management initiatives that contribute to store profitability and success. The position also supports scheduling, opening and closing procedures, operational systems, and peak store operations, including occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking processes, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Support peak store operations, including occasionally lifting and moving boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
