About The Position

The Assistant Retail Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role supports merchandising and product launches, helps meet and exceed sales objectives, and works to provide customers with an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services. The Assistant Manager also coaches and develops retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals, and conducts outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership success.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
• Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Ability to use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
• Initiative and a results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities
