Assistant Retail Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Retail Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role supports merchandising and product launches, helps meet and exceed sales objectives, and ensures customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services. The position also includes outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed. The Assistant Retail Store Manager coaches and develops a team of retail sales consultants so they can meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership development. The role calls for communication and leadership skills, sound planning and problem-solving, initiative, collaboration, and the ability to support change and produce results.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.
- Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Ability to use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
- Initiative and a focus on creating results.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the store manager to oversee daily retail store operations.
- Assist with merchandising and product launches.
