About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. Responsibilities include inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management to contribute to store profitability and success. The Assistant Store Manager also oversees store systems and operational processes, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures, and may occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to meet sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation, serving as a brand ambassador.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and drive revenue growth and sales goal achievement.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
