About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, inspires employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability through inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management initiatives. The position also involves overseeing store systems and procedures, resolving operational challenges and customer concerns, and occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking processes, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds to support peak store operations.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
