About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role helps drive daily store performance, inspire employees, and provide seamless customer service. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising, and carrying out sales management initiatives that contribute to store profitability. The position may require occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

The starting pay is $17.31 per hour, with an hourly range of $17.31–$19.00. Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. to support peak store operations.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Help create a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment for employees and customers.
