About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, ensures customer service, manages inventory and visual merchandising, and carries out sales initiatives that contribute to store profitability. The position may require occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. The high school diploma or equivalent and retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience are preferred but not required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds to support peak store operations.
• Implement strategies to grow revenue, set performance expectations, and exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
