About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role helps drive daily store performance, inspire employees, and deliver seamless customer service. The Assistant Store Manager contributes to store profitability by managing inventory, improving visual merchandising, and implementing sales management initiatives. The position also supports store operations, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures, and may occasionally involve lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to meet sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Implement sales performance strategies, set expectations, and work to exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
