About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role helps drive daily store performance, motivate employees, and deliver seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability through inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management. The Assistant Store Manager also oversees store systems and operational processes, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures, and may occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and work to exceed sales goals.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
