About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role helps drive daily store performance, motivate employees, and ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising standards, overseeing store operations, and implementing sales strategies that contribute to profitability and overall store success. The position may require occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems and operations, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
