About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, and ensures strong customer service. Responsibilities also include inventory management, visual merchandising, operational processes, and sales initiatives that contribute to store profitability.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds to support peak store operations.
• Implement sales performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
