About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager (RAM) works in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment and serves as a connection between customers and the T-Mobile brand. The role involves providing excellent customer service, building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues, and developing strong knowledge of wireless devices and service plans. The RAM also supports store management in operating the retail facility and is responsible for achieving assigned performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
• Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to problem-solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make sound decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service by greeting customers, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
• Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
• Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across business channels.
• Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits in accordance with operational control standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail store standards.
• Explore customer needs and assist with service activations, service changes, bill payments, equipment replacement, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
• Achieve assigned performance metrics.
