About The Position
The Retail Assistant Manager (RAM) works in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment and serves as a connection between customers and the T-Mobile brand. The role requires enthusiasm for the wireless industry and knowledge of phones and pricing plans, along with a commitment to building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. The RAM supports store operations and management while delivering customer service and meeting assigned performance metrics. The position requires performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of retail and/or sales experience with a strong customer focus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
- Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to problem-solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by greeting customers in stores, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
- Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
- Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across business channels.
- Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits according to operations control standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail store standards.
- Explore customer needs and support service activations and changes, bill payments, equipment replacement, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
- Achieve assigned performance metrics.
