About The Position
The Retail Assistant Manager (RAM) works in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment and connects customers with the T-Mobile brand. The role calls for enthusiasm for the wireless industry and knowledge of phones, devices, and pricing plans, as well as a commitment to building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. The RAM supports store operations and management while working to achieve assigned performance metrics and monthly revenue goals. The position includes providing customer service in person and by phone; helping customers with service activations, account changes and bill payments, equipment replacement, accessories, price plan changes, and upgrades; and supporting store opening, closing, and operations. The RAM also helps maintain store standards, handles cash, inventory counts, and deposits in accordance with operational controls, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
- Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to problem-solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer phones, assess customer needs, and provide world-class customer service.
- Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
- Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across business channels.
- Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits in accordance with operational control standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail store standards.
- Explore customer needs and assist with service activations, account changes and bill payments, equipment replacement, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
- Achieve assigned performance metrics.
