About The Position
Retail & Events Assistant Manager – South Region. This is a Full-Time | Hybrid role, working in Southern West Michigan (including the greater Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lakeshore areas). The compensation is $40,000–$60,000 per year (Base + Bonuses). A travel stipend is provided, and a company vehicle is possible. The role involves leading a team that brings energy to retail spaces and event booths, driving results, developing people, and contributing to a fast-growing company. Requirements
- Experience leading in sales, retail, or performance-based roles
- Strong communicator with coaching and organizational skills
- A leader who can take direction and lead by example
- Flexible schedule – retail focus during the week, events on weekends
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Southern West Michigan
Responsibilities
- Partner with the South Regional Manager to lead 15–25+ team members
- Run weekly 1:1s, team meetings, and ongoing coaching
- Onboard and train new hires
- Oversee team scheduling, daily reports, and retail/event operations
- Maintain clean, engaging showrooms and event spaces
- Replenish marketing materials and support event logistics
- Track and drive key team metrics: Lead cost under $300, Demo efficiency under 8:1 hours per demo
