About The Position

As a Retail Ambassador at Rothy’s, you will represent the brand on the sales floor, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and embody company values in every interaction. The role focuses on building meaningful customer connections, driving sales through service, and supporting a welcoming, inclusive store culture. You will also assist with limited operational tasks to help keep the store maintained and running smoothly.

The role is based at the Domain Northside store in Austin, Texas, and is seasonal. The position requires availability for at least 16 hours per week according to one of the stated peak-day schedules.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build genuine customer connections.
• Passion for service and motivation to achieve personal and team sales goals.
• Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
• Availability to work at least 16 hours per week: either three peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) or two peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) plus two non-peak days (Monday through Thursday).
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
• Ability to follow Rothy’s dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.

• Drive personal sales results and contribute to team goals.
• Build lasting customer relationships through clienteling practices.
• Support a positive, inclusive, service-driven store culture through collaborative, team-focused behavior.
• Perform assigned daily operational tasks accurately, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising support, and maintaining store organization and cleanliness.
• Follow store operations, policies, established procedures, and SOPs to support operational excellence and compliance.
