Resupply Representative
About The Position
PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Resupply Representative to provide customer service to clients in the respiratory and enteral nutrition industry, specifically for disposable supplies. The role processes inbound orders from referral sources and assistance requests from patients through inbound and outbound calls, faxes, emails, and online ordering portals. The representative must be proficient in insurance data collection, verification, and authorization. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, Monday through Friday, based in Concord, North Carolina, with a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days remote. The position reports to the Resupply Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience in a respiratory home durable medical equipment company.
- Strong PC skills, especially proficiency with the MS Office suite.

- Associate degree or some college.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sales orders for resupply needs, including oxygen, ventilator, tracheostomy, and enteral nutrition supplies.
- Verify insurance and update patient files, including demographic, insurance, and benefit information.
- Manage patient prescriptions and request prior authorization when necessary to fill orders.
- Communicate with patients and providers by telephone, email, and web portals.
- Develop working knowledge of Brightree, Document EMR Management, Microsoft Office, MS Teams, McKesson, Cardinal, resupply web portals, and other applications or software related to patient resupply fulfillment.
- Document and enter new referrals and subsequent patient admissions from start to finish, following PromptCare’s policies and procedures.
- Meet productivity metrics and maintain related responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
