Resupply Representative
About The Position
PromptCare is seeking a Resupply Representative to provide customer service to clients in the respiratory and enteral nutrition industry, with a focus on disposable supplies. The representative processes inbound orders from referral sources and assistance requests from patients through calls, faxes, email, and online ordering portals. The position requires proficiency in insurance data collection, verification, and authorization. It is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and reports to the Resupply Manager. The role is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days remote.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience in a Respiratory Home Durable Medical Equipment company.
- Strong PC skills, especially the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in insurance data collection, verification, and authorization.

- Associate degree or some college.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sales orders for resupply needs, including oxygen, ventilator, tracheostomy, and enteral nutrition supplies.
- Verify insurance and update patient files, including demographic, insurance, and benefit information.
- Manage patient prescriptions and request prior authorization when necessary to fill orders.
- Communicate with patients and providers by telephone, email, and web portals.
- Develop working knowledge of Brightree, Document EMR Management, Microsoft Office, MS Teams, McKesson, Cardinal, resupply web portals, and other applications or software used for patient resupply fulfillment.
- Document and enter new referrals and subsequent patient admissions from start to finish, following PromptCare policies and procedures.
- Meet productivity metrics and fulfill related responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
