Resupply Representative
About The Position
PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated Resupply Representative to provide customer service to clients in the respiratory and enteral nutrition industry, with a focus on disposable supplies. The representative processes inbound orders from referral sources and assistance requests from patients through calls, faxes, emails, and online ordering portals. The role requires proficiency in insurance data collection, verification, and authorization. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days working remotely. The position reports to the Resupply Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience in a Respiratory Home Durable Medical Equipment company.
- Strong PC skills, especially proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or some college.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sales orders for resupply needs, including oxygen, ventilator, tracheostomy, and enteral nutrition.
- Verify insurance and update patient files, including demographic, insurance, and benefit information.
- Manage patient prescriptions and request prior authorization when necessary to fill an order.
- Communicate with patients and providers by telephone, email, and web portals.
- Develop working knowledge of Brightree, Document EMR Management, Microsoft Office, MS Teams, McKesson, Cardinal, resupply web portals, and other applications or software used for patient resupply fulfillment.
- Document and enter computer information for new referrals and subsequent patient admissions from start to finish, following PromptCare policies and procedures.
- Meet productivity metrics and fulfill related responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
