About The Position

ABM is hiring a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. The role supports the appearance and sanitation of the workplace and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

This is an evening position scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at 5875 N Lindbergh Blvd, Hazelwood, Missouri. Pay is $17.00 per hour. The posting describes it as suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
