About The Position

4M Building Solutions is hiring a part-time evening General Cleaner. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM and pays $17.00 per hour. The role is described as a frontline essential-worker position. 4M provides training in its cleaning and disinfecting practices, using green-seal-certified supplies and equipment; no prior janitorial experience is required. A background check with fingerprinting and a successful drug screening are required. The position reports to the Account Supervisor or Account Manager. Duties may vary, and the description is representative only.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No janitorial experience is required; training is provided.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check, including fingerprinting.
• Must comply with social-distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required under position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices and supplies and equipment.
• Represent 4M as a reliable, courteous, and resourceful team member.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips noticed in the facility.
• Follow social-distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
