About The Position

The General Cleaner is a part-time evening frontline essential worker who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties at a facility. Team members are trained in 4M’s cleaning practices, using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment. No prior janitorial experience is required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at $17.00 per hour. A background check with fingerprinting and successful drug screening are required. The role reports to the Account Supervisor/Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful drug screening and background check, including required fingerprinting.
• Comply with social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary under position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Represent 4M as a reliable, courteous, and resourceful team member.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs or replacements, leaks, and drips noticed at the facility.
• Follow social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
