About The Position

4M Building Solutions is hiring a part-time evening General Cleaner to perform cleaning and disinfecting tasks. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $17.00 per hour. No prior janitorial experience is required; 4M provides training in its cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required.

The cleaner is expected to be reliable, courteous, and resourceful while serving as a frontline essential worker and a representative of 4M. Duties are representative and may vary. The position reports to an Account Supervisor or Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No janitorial experience is required; training is provided.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips that are noticed.
• Follow social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
