About The Position

NHC is hiring a full-time Restorative CNA at NHC HealthCare Tullahoma in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The role oversees, directs, and participates in restorative programs for individual patients, while coordinating with restorative nursing and therapy team members on goals and approaches to patients’ needs. The CNA maintains accurate documentation, including in the EHR, follows universal and isolation precautions and infection prevention policies, and reports changes in patients’ condition or behavior and unusual incidents. Requirements

Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Responsibilities

Understand and practice universal precautions with all patients.
Adhere to isolation precautions and the center’s infection prevention and control policies.
Oversee, direct, and participate in restorative programs initiated for individual patients.
Communicate with the restorative nursing and therapy team about goal setting and approaches to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate restorative documentation for all patients participating in restorative programs, including documentation in the EHR.
Report and, when appropriate, record observed changes in patients’ condition or behavior and unusual incidents.
