About The Position
NHC Tullahoma is hiring a full-time Restorative CNA. The role oversees, directs, and participates in restorative programs for individual patients, coordinating with restorative nursing and therapy staff on goals and approaches to patient needs. The CNA follows infection-prevention practices, maintains accurate restorative records including EHR documentation, and reports changes in patient condition or behavior and unusual incidents. The position is located at NHC HealthCare Tullahoma, 1321 Cedar Lane, Tullahoma, Tennessee, and is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Requirements
- Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Responsibilities
- Understand and practice universal precautions with all patients; follow isolation precautions and the center’s infection prevention and control policies.
- Oversee, direct, and participate in restorative programs initiated for individual patients.
- Communicate with the restorative nursing and therapy team about goal setting and approaches to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate restorative documentation for patients participating in restorative programs, including documentation in the EHR.
- Report and, when appropriate, record changes in patients’ condition or behavior and unusual incidents.
