About The Position

The Restorative CNA provides restorative care to short-term rehabilitation and long-term residents at The Shores, a United Methodist Communities location in Ocean City, New Jersey. The role supports residents in building strength and maintaining independence through exercises and daily care guided by their restorative care plans. This is a part-time day-shift position scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation. The stated pay range is $23.00 to $25.55 per hour, based on experience.

Employment offers are contingent on passing a drug test and background check. A flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions available upon request. Requirements

• Active New Jersey CNA certification in good standing on the New Jersey Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care or rehabilitation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with restorative or rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead residents through range-of-motion, walking, and positioning exercises specified in their restorative care plans.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, and other daily care while encouraging residents to do as much as possible independently.
• Assist residents with transfers and meals, and use adaptive equipment.
• Record each resident’s progress.
• Notice and report changes in a resident’s condition.
• Work with nurses and the care team toward each resident’s goals.
