Restoration Technician- $500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
SERVPRO of Belle Meade/West Nashville is hiring Restoration Technicians to help homes and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, and storm damage. Technicians respond to emergencies and perform hands-on restoration work, including water extraction, demolition, equipment setup, and cleanup. The role is suitable for candidates with related experience or those interested in learning a trade; paid IICRC training and certifications are provided, along with opportunities to advance to Lead Technician and Supervisor roles. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour, based on experience, with bi-weekly pay and overtime opportunities. A $500 sign-on bonus is payable after 90 days of active employment, subject to the employee being actively employed and in good standing at the time of payment. Free uniforms and PPE are provided. The franchise offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holidays. This is physically active work in customers’ homes and businesses. Technicians must be willing to work on-call shifts, including a rotation with some evenings, weekends, and holidays. Each SERVPRO franchise is independently owned and operated; employees are hired, employed, and supervised by the franchise.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old to drive company vehicles.
- Comfortable with physical work, tight spaces, and ladders, and able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work on-call shifts, with a rotation that includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in construction, handyman work, restoration, air duct cleaning, HVAC cleaning, or indoor air quality services is a plus.
- IICRC certification is a bonus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergencies involving water, fire, mold, and storm damage.
- Perform restoration services, including water extraction, demolition, equipment setup, and site cleanup.
- Load and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in company vehicles.
- Identify safety hazards and communicate needs to a supervisor.
- Work respectfully and professionally in customers’ homes and businesses.
- Support job documentation through notes, photos, and communication.
