About The Position

Q3 Contracting, a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is hiring Restoration Professionals to support utility construction restoration projects in Iowa statewide, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Omaha, Nebraska, as well as surrounding areas. Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs. Restoration crews restore surfaces after underground utility construction, including concrete, asphalt, and soft-surface areas. The work is primarily outdoors in active construction environments and involves hands-on, physically demanding tasks. Competitive union wages are paid weekly; compensation depends on applicable classification and agreements. Specific qualifications and requirements may vary by position.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform other physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and contribute to team goals.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
• Candidates are subject to applicable drug testing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL is highly preferred, but is not required for all positions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally when project needs require it.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on restoration work following underground utility construction.
• Assist with concrete patching, repairs, and finishing.
• Lay and finish asphalt patches.
• Complete soft-surface restoration and related site cleanup.
• Operate tools and equipment as assigned and appropriate to training.
• Assist with preparing, maintaining, and cleaning up job sites.
• Follow established safety procedures and work collaboratively with crew members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily restoration operations.
