Warehouse Support - Sioux Falls, SD
About The Position
The Warehouse Support role assists with daily warehouse and transportation operations to help ensure efficient workflow. Duties include handling packages, supporting route coverage when needed, parking and fueling vehicles, making trailer cuts for timely delivery to branches, helping maintain yard and building security, and communicating with warehouse staff and management to resolve discrepancies. The position may require covering variable shifts based on business needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 10:00 PM start. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. Compensation is $25.00–$31.75 per hour, based on experience; starting pay depends on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity. The role is full-time and nonexempt. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record meeting company standards, and be able to pass a DOT physical. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role requires handling freight weighing up to 75 pounds and working with varied freight, including hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals. Applicants must also pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record that meets company standards.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission or willingness to learn.
- Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities
