About The Position

Echo Electric, a Sonepar-owned electrical distribution company, is hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate / Wire Cutter in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The role supports warehouse operations by receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products, cutting wire, and assisting with general warehouse maintenance. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The role involves using an RF scanner to handle orders ranging from small boxes to pallets, safely and efficiently cutting wire, receiving and storing inventory, performing regular cycle counts, and recording damaged or defective materials. Associates may operate warehouse equipment and must be able to meet the stated lifting, standing, and movement requirements, with or without accommodation.

Requirements

• Be willing to operate warehouse equipment such as a wire cutting machine, forklifts, and pallet jacks, and use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse, with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders using an RF scanner, handling items from small boxes to pallets.
• Cut wire safely and efficiently.
• Receive and store inventory safely and correctly.
• Perform cycle counts regularly.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
• Assist with general warehouse maintenance.
