About The Position

Shake Shack is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to lead service and team members during a shift, supporting safe, clean, high-quality, and efficient restaurant operations. The role helps build and lead a high-performing hourly team and may provide operational support in areas such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory. It also participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations. The position offers hands-on mentorship, training, and opportunities for career development in a fun and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct team members’ work during a shift to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory.
• Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations.
