About The Position

Shake Shack is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to help lead shift operations and deliver safe, clean, high-quality, and efficient service. The role directs team members during a shift, supports the development of a high-performing hourly team, and may assist with operational functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory. Requirements

At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the flow of service and direct team members’ work during a shift to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
Help build and lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members.
May assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory.
Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations.
