About The Position

Restaurant Shift Leaders help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a Love’s restaurant. They assist in leading staff, delivering exceptional customer service, managing processes, and carrying out strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction. The role includes working with team members to prepare and package orders, supporting the General Manager with operational tasks, and maintaining a safe, clean restaurant and kitchen.

Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting or moving of items weighing over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen and follow proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution and completion, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and meeting customer service expectations.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas.
• Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.
