About The Position

Marco’s Pizza is seeking an energetic, goal-oriented Restaurant Shift Leader who is passionate about people and results. The role leads restaurant shifts, supports the team, and helps deliver outstanding product quality and customer service while building sales and controlling costs. The Shift Leader helps uphold the company’s culture and leadership values, trains team members, supports production and local marketing, and ensures restaurant standards and procedures are followed. Hoogland Restaurant Group operates more than 100 Marco’s Pizza locations and offers opportunities to grow with the company.

Requirements

• Desire to ensure customer happiness.
• Ability to lead a team in producing high-quality service and products.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco’s leadership behaviors and values.
• Promote a company culture that attracts, retains, and develops team members.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures.
• Maintain standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Organize shift positions and delegate duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.
• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Follow security and verification procedures when handling deposits and the safe.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Ensure deposits are accurate and follow cash-handling procedures.
