About The Position

As a Shift Leader, you will lead restaurant shift operations to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards. You will coach and motivate team members, support operational goals, uphold safety and compliance requirements, and help ensure smooth shift transitions. You will work with the Restaurant Manager team to develop leadership and shift-management skills and strengthen your operational foundation. The role is based at the home restaurant, with occasional support at neighboring locations or elsewhere in the Market, and may include business meetings, training, and leadership sessions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
Must be able to meet business needs and have open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours, with dependable attendance.
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 pounds.
Experience coaching or leading teams.
Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
ServSafe Food Certification, or ability to successfully obtain and pass the exam during training.

Responsibilities

Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.

Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations.
Partner with the Restaurant Manager team to develop leadership skills, shift-management capability, and operational knowledge.
At times, assist at neighboring locations or provide leadership support within the Market.
Participate in business meetings, training opportunities, and leadership sessions as applicable.
