About The Position

Restaurant Shift Leaders help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Love’s restaurants. They assist in leading staff, providing exceptional customer service, managing processes, and carrying out strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction. The role works alongside team members to support timely order preparation and packaging, and to coach and develop staff. Shift Leaders also assist the facility’s General Manager with task completion, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.

Requirements

Ability to work various shifts.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Ability to frequently lift or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen and ensure proper food safety procedures are followed.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
Assist the General Manager with task execution and completion, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Work with team members to coach and develop them in preparing and packaging customer orders promptly and meeting customer service expectations.
Oversee cleanliness in the dining room and food preparation areas.
Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.
