About The Position

The Shift Leader leads restaurant shifts to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards while supporting daily operations. The role coaches, trains, and motivates team members, supports operational goals, and helps maintain a positive and accountable workplace. The Shift Leader partners with the Restaurant Manager team to build leadership skills, shift-management capability, and operational knowledge. The position is primarily based at the home restaurant, with occasional support at neighboring locations or elsewhere in the Market. The role may also include business meetings, training opportunities, and leadership sessions. Open availability is required, including overnight, weekend, holiday, and variable hours.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
Meet business needs with open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance.
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs.
Experience coaching or leading teams.
Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
Possess ServSafe Food Certification, or be able to successfully obtain and pass the exam during training.

Responsibilities

Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations.
Support daily restaurant operations and, at times, provide leadership support at neighboring locations or within the Market.
