About The Position
The Restaurant Server delivers memorable restaurant experiences through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations, and seamless service from starter to dessert. The role involves maintaining high service standards, keeping the kitchen stocked, clean, and safe, assisting with washing up and other kitchen duties, minimizing waste, reporting safety concerns and low supplies, and taking on additional duties to keep service running smoothly. The position requires flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as the ability to meet food-handling and alcohol-serving requirements under local law.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Meet local legal requirements for food handling and serving alcohol, including being above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming manner.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable guest experiences by providing high standards of service with signature flair.
- Keep the kitchen well stocked and ensure it is clean and safe.
- Help with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Minimize waste.
- Inform the supervisor or duty manager about unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents.
