About The Position

The AM Server at La Boucherie provides fast, courteous food and beverage service to hotel guests and ensures that food and beverages are presented according to established standards. The server welcomes guests, takes orders, helps keep service on track, and tailors each guest’s experience to their preferences.

The role includes preparing food and beverages for service, maintaining clean tables and service stations, completing opening and closing tasks, addressing service or safety issues with Outlet Management, and supporting guest satisfaction through appropriate service recovery. The position may also involve processing guest payments and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Basic reading and writing abilities.
• Food service experience and general knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move about the restaurant and handle food-service objects such as plates, trays, and glasses.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Communication skills for interacting with guests, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or a food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local or state government agency.
• Reading and writing abilities for taking orders and completing paperwork.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and credit.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Prepare food and beverages for service and present food in accordance with established health and presentation standards.
• Clear and clean tables promptly; clean tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as needed.
• Perform side-work and required opening or closing duties, and keep wait staff stations clean and maintained throughout the shift.
• Notify Outlet Management of service or safety issues and make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines.
• Receive guest payments and process transactions according to cash and charge procedures as needed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
